Our foundation signed the Belt and Road China-Africa Friendly Information Industrial Park Agreement with Western District of Luohe City in Henan Province

On the morning of 29^th November, Mr. Zhang Yi，President of our foundation and Mr. Rong Zhiguang, Deputy Secretary of Western District Party Working Committee and Director of Management Committee of Luohe City in Henan Province, signed an agreement regards the Belt and Road China-Africa Friendly Information Industrial Park. This industrial park attaches great importance to the electronic information, software development, outsourcing call, cultural creativity, and small and medium-sized enterprises incubation cultivation, with an aim of setting up the Central Valley. Mr. Hao Huijie, Deputy Secretary of the Luohe Municipal Party Committee, Mayor, and Communist Party Secretary, Mr. Wang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Municipal Committee and Politics and Laws Committee, Vice Mayor Mr. Yu Wei have also attended this signing ceremony. Mr. Gao Xidong, Member of Municipal Standing Committee of Luohe City, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Government and Deputy Mayor, hosted this signing ceremony. Mr. Zhang Zongwu, Secretary General of our foundation, Mr. Tian Xinwen, Manager of China Railway Sixth Bureau and commander from China Construction Second Bureau Engineering Infrastructure Investment Co.,Ltd and China New Era Group Corporation jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.

At the Meeting

Mr. Zhou Jian, Secretary of Western District Party Working Committee delivered a welcome speech and showed a warm welcome towards President Mr. Zhang Yi and his delegation. He stressed that the signing ceremony is to implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, which is a crucial achievement gained in the past one hundred days, as well as a masterpiece received in the attracting investment stage. He introduced important projects of Fortune top 500 settled in the Western District, such as Evergrande, HUAWEI, and Country Garden. He said that Western District has entered into a new attracting investment stage nowadays with contracting volume of more than 20 billion RMB. The establishment of this industrial park will accelerate the development of Western District.

President Mr. Zhang Yi emphasized that the signing of the investment cooperation agreement with the government of Western District in Luohe City, and the establishment of the Belt and Road China-Africa Friendly Information Industrial Park would be a milestone in our cooperation with the local government. Recently our foundation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Lixia District of Jinan City in Shandong Province and set up the Belt and Road China-Africa Friendship International Cultural Exchange Center, which was a major project together implemented with government. He said that this year our foundation had received more than 30 government officials from African countries and Belt and Road countries, and hosted various forums, economic and trade salons, as well as investigation and research trips to companies in different fields etc., to further contribute to the development of China, Africa and Belt and Road countries. He believed that the establishment of the Belt and Road China-Africa Friendly Information Industrial Park was of epoch-making significance for the development of the electronic information industry in Western District of Luohe City and even the Central Plains. The establishment of industrial park conformed to the trend and seized the key point of the economic age that had favorable conditions, enjoyable geographical position as well as great supports from citizens. We hope both parties would achieve win-win cooperation.

 Amid warm applause, the President Mr. Zhang Yi and Director Mr. Rong Zhiguang signed the project agreement. Both sides are confident to make joined efforts to reinforce each other through complementary cooperation and seek new development together.

Finally, Mayor Mr. Hao Huijie delivered a conclusive speech. First of all, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, he warmly congratulated on the successful signing of the project and extended a warm welcome to all the guests who attended the ceremony. He pointed out that the Western District, as the only commercial center in Luohe City, was the core area for future urban development and a nesting area for advanced commercial development. Since its establishment in 2010, Western District has maintained its high-end positioning and made remarkable achievements in its development and construction. He emphasized that the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government had always attached great importance to and strongly supported the development of cooperative enterprises. He hoped our foundation would actively implement the cooperation agreement and strive to become a new paradigm of win-win cooperation between governments and enterprises, becoming a new bright spot among the innovative cities.

Before the signing ceremony, Mayor Mr. Hao Huijie met with the President Mr. Zhang Yi and his partners. Mr. Hao Huijie pointed out that the Electronic Information Industrial Park would continuously contribute to the structure optimization, economic transformation and improvement of people’s livelihood of Western District. Both sides will achieve win-win cooperation under the principle of mutual benefits. Both sides looked ahead with a friendly atmosphere, exchanged views towards promoting existed cooperation projects and achieved consensus in how to promote existed cooperation projects and further strengthen bilateral strategic cooperation.

A good wind makes a good sailing. At present, the comprehensive strategic partnership between the China-Africa Friendly Economic and Trade Development Foundation and Western District of Luohe City, Henan Province is fully developed and deepened. Signing the project cooperation agreement, on one hand, is of great significance to the development, popularity enhancement and competitiveness improvement of the Luohe city. On the other hand, it will provide new opportunities and driving source for the long-term development of our foundation. We believe that through this cooperation, both sides will create brilliant achievements and bear rich fruits.
